Clare Valley-based Sevenhill is one of Australia’s oldest wineries with a knock-your-socks-off history.
It was established by the Society of Jesus in 1851 by priests who fled Europe to escape religious persecution, settling in South Australia where they got busy planting vines. A job that made us pinch ourselves.
