Mark and Pete Saturno are the kings of reinvention.
Building on their experience in the liquor store industry, the Saturno clan followed their passion all the way to Longview vineyard, which the family now owns. Brothers Mark and Pete are the legends who run the show, and they’re two of the most animated, enthusiastic and entertaining blokes you could hope to meet.
We’ve been working with these guys for a decade and always look forward to breaking bread with them. Mark, who doubles as an actor, is oozing life, a top notch people person, full of creative flair and with the true gift of the gab. Pete has a beautifully measured nature, with a supreme pragmatism and great marketing instincts that perfectly complement his brother’s grandeur. We were their second stop after buying the winery; they both understood that in order for Longview to shine, the ho-hum labels they inherited had to go.
The vineyard is a busy mecca, where grapes are grown, weddings are celebrated, Sunday tapas is enjoyed, and all kind of exciting events take place. There are views for miles and accommodation on site. The whole place is an astounding and never-ending work in progress, and a testament to the vision the Saturnos have been finessing since they brought it in 2007.
We love how these guys never sit still, never settle, and never stop aspiring for the next idea, the next addition, the next pillar of excellence. Truly inspirational stuff.
