We’re not exactly thespians, but over the four seasons we worked with the State Theatre they came to feel like kin.
We worked with two very different Artistic Directors during our tenure, one who was extremely adventurous and lateral thinking and one who was very strategic and brand focused. Both were brilliant collaborators who relentlessly worked their hides off but always had time for a laugh, no matter how tight the deadline.
We loved getting our teeth stuck into this one, art directing all photography and designing all marketing material for five years. The creative freedom and visibility the team offered meant they were an absolute treat to work with. It turned out to be the perfect match, as our State Theatre branding went on to pick up a swag of awards, including Best of Show at the Adelaide Art Directors Club, various AGDA awards and even typography awards from the Type Directors Club in New York. Great people, great result.
